for people pointing out the GT5 was bundled
enjoy and celebrate the sales, but just dont be hypocrites and downplay GT5 sales because it was bundled after 3 years

Limited edition consoles are at most 250K units, probably not much more than 100K units, and AFAIK are sold for $100 more than an equivalent console. You can't heavy bundle this way.

its a bundle still and it was released at launch, and we dont know how much of those were made. my point is dont downplay GT5 for being bundled in its 3rd year and just act like halo 4 doesnt have a bundle.

So it's the same a game bundled in a limited edition console that sells for $100 more than a regular one, than a game throw in a bundle with 3 other games, at the same cost than other bundles (before you try to discredit this post with this 3 other games mention, I don't know how Sony bundles GT, if they do with other games or alone, it was just an example based on the infamous+uncharted bundle) I'm sure that Sony would love to have tons of the limited edition console type bundles sold. They are not comparable, the same that don't provide the same earnings the full cost units sold than the bargain bin or platinum/the best/whatever name edition. All this make this comparison much more loopsided, and I'm sure that you would mention it if it were the inverse situation.

Halo 4 has discounts in the holiday season as well, as well with promotions with 20$ gift cards. does that make the sales of halo 4 any less impressive? no, same goes for GT5. and i think the bundle is with uncharted 3, but that was with the slim which released in octobor and polyphony said GT5 sold 9.2 million as of september, so its before the bundle launched. im not downplaying any games sales. all im saying is that dont downplay gt5 sales because its bundled in its 3rd year when halo 4 was released with a bundle and some discounts as well ( as pretty much every game in the holiday season)
