Blacklight developer Zombie Studios is making a new game with Epic's Unreal Engine 4, it's announced.
It's a psychological thriller for the PC due out in the second quarter of 2013.
Zombie Studios chief Jared Gerritzen said Unreal Engine 4 “will be a fundamental benefit to our studio as we move into the next generation of games and take our studio to the next level”.
Seattle-based developer Zombie Studios is best-known for the Blacklight games. The first, Tango Down, launched in 2010 on console. A follow-up, the free-to-play Retribution, released in April this year on PC.

Do you need a 680/7970 to run Unreal Engine 4 games or i just got that fully wrong. I am saying this because Epic was running their tech demo on really high end pc. How will these games scale down for lower tier video cards.

Unreal 4 will rule next gen as UE3 did on this gen.

I'm sure it will be very scalable, like UE3

I hope it's a little less popular though, or that devs are more easily able to use the toolset.
Many games at the start of this generation looked very similar due to the widespread prevelance of the Unreal engine.
A thing of beauty, strength, and grace lies behind that whiskered face.

We know nothing more about it right now, but there's of course a possibility that they don't mention it because they're not allowed to.
Interesting that when I googled just now, I see that Square Enix signed a deal with Epic to license UE4. Interesting. Makes me hope they'll do a better job of porting their Japanese titles to PC.
Edit: I see your edit, but Blacklight: Retribution is their F2P game and it's already out. This here is a new game running on UE4 that has no name at the moment. Probably won't be F2P (since it's a "psychological thriller")
