Meanwhile, I was in my local Best Buy yesterday and saw these bundles in droves sitting on shelves, along with the PS3 bundles, although there were fewer of those than the 360 bundles.

Online is always going to sell out faster because it's more people going to one retail source with a limited supply. Most brick and mortar stores have plenty of PS360 bundles left

That funny I was at walmart the other day and didn't see any Xbox bundles or Wii's but I saw racks (two or three)full of PS3's must vary depending on where you live

That's funny i was at Mediamarkt the other day (actually today) and there were

3 full palettes of XBox360/Forza bundles (240 pieces) + 1 almost full palette of various XBox360 bundles (approx 60 pieces)

11 plain 12G PS3s + 15 320G PS3 bundles

What does that tell us? Exactly the same thing as every "I was in my shop and saw" stories.. nothing.

Black Friday isn't celebrated in the UK from what I understand....so yeah your comment in irrelevant.

See, here's how it works.
Everyone has already bought a 360, and the ps3 is cheap, so since people don't have ps3s this year, that's going to be what they get for christmas. Hah! Brilliant move by Sony, MS didn't see that coming.

Market saturation. I think that explains why we have 3 successful consoles this gen.

Long life cycle leads people to buy multiple consoles.

That Microsoft Online Stores represent the overall console market?

I'm afraid MS online stores only stock a few thousand of these bundles at most, and with such a small segment of the market we can't draw any statistical conclusions.

If anything I believe VGC has overtracked the X360 a bit in the last months. Shipment numbers are bismal.

So I looked up the word 'bismal'.

n. A bluish-gray voluminous powder, consisting of the bismuth salt of methylene-digallic acid, the latter being a condensation-product of formaldehyde and gallic acid (4C15H12O10 + 3Bi(OH)3). It is an internal astringent.

Dude, that's just damn cruel.  Uncalled for.  This begs for moderation.

Oops.

same here.  hundereds of ps3 and 360 alike at both best buy and target.

Guess 360 sales bad again until official report

How many people buy gaming products from an online Microsoft Store?

Lol. Straight in... Must.... Down..... Play....

i don't think that's the point.

have a little think.

lol at you Kow. You do the same when it's Sony stuff. Fast as a shark.

So what's the point of this news then, what meaningful conclusions do you draw from it?

OT - I reaaaally love Black Friday. The true start of huge Holiday sales.

Halo 4 bundle is sold out on Amazon.
My walmart had plenty of 4gb skylander bundle. i didn't see any wii u nor ps3 bundles. Doesn't mean 360 is not selling well though - just over-stocked. Can't wait for the numbers

Skylander bundle is still available for $160 on Wal-Mart.com Stores had a lot left over Friday in our area but are quickly sellling. Actually all 3 systems have sold out AFAIK. We had more Wii's then anything.

It's just that simple.

Like every freaking year hahah

Once Black Friday Reports come in, cow will be eaten and cake will be thrown.

gotta love this, just watch 360 destroying ps3 this week :D

The 360 has a lot more bundles than the ps3...... So more were shipped to cater for more people. sorry but it's obvious why more 360's are on the shelf. Microsoft shipped a massive amount of consoles because the 360 absolutely destroys the competition during the holiday season!!!! If it's selling out, it means some bundles are completely gone and some remain.
