What do you now think of the roster after playing the beta?

I'd enjoy more but as is the roster is great 58 41.43%
 
I need more, I don't car... 51 36.43%

i tried the game thought it was meh, very generic, so I think it needs more stuff than roster (i know its a beta, but its so damn boring)

As everyone else said, Crash, Cloud and Snake. More Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy characters wouldn't hurt either, with possibly some Resident Evil characters too.


General Radec plays kind of like how Snake would. It would be cool to see the dynamic between the two in this franchise.

You must have been playing something else cause this game is NOT boring. Action packed from the beginning of the match to the end.

Haha, love the infamous series just never really cared for cole. Now I think I might be missing something lol.


Cole is going to be a major badass in the next game. The whole east coast of the US are conduits (as the outbreak is spreading across the US) now so its going to force him to be even more badass. Plus John gave him his powers so he's going to have to turn millions of people into conduits.

it felt so bland, the presentation and everything, like they didn't bother much with it, and its a shame because i wanted it to be good.

I would be suprised if we get another 12 or so characters in the next year and Sony re-release it next winter with all the DLC. Mayb on ps4 version as well if its out by then.


Brawl has a lot of characters that are not needed, but its been built up pretty well. Maybe its good to hold back? But then again this is the first game with a small roster much like the first Super Smash.

Oh cmon don't tell me you believe all that. The presentation is amazing. Where else can you have a 4 player FFA while Hades is in the background causing massive destruction. Where else can you fight opponents on cargo barely holding on to the plane while that bird from bioshock flies by every now and then. I mean Superbot did an AMAZING job at making levels that have combination of different games. Not to mention there are even more levels that haven't been revealed yet. This game is the epitamy of fun and chaos. Plus don't forget this is the first game. The first Smash Bros wasn't the best, albeit it was fun, the "sequels" to Smash Bros were much better. I just hope enough people buy this game so that Sony has the incentive to want to make another one with even more characters. So far the preorders aren't looking good for a game of it's calibre, considering it's 6 weeks till launch.

That might sell me considering MGS3 is my second favorite game of all time and by far the best in the series.

I'm not super psyched about the roster, but as I've said before I bet this game is going to get a ton as DLC. I'm also betting this game gets the LBP treatment with tons of costumes.
