What do you now think of the roster after playing the beta?

I'd enjoy more but as is the roster is great 58 41.43%

I am still disappointed by the roster. I'm more disappointed by the game itself though.

Am I happy with the roster? It's sort of a mixed bag, there are some characters that I wouldn't say are Playstation "All-Stars", such as Big Daddy... and then some of the characters don't represent themselves properly in terms of how they're associated with Playstation, such as using the new model of Heihachi and Dante, however, atleast Heihachi has his same hair style lol, but especially for both of these characters especially, it seems like they were just put in to advertise the latest game in their series... and since I've said over and over I REALLY dislike this new Dante, I'll be happy with him IF... and ONLY IF we can eventually get a new costume, even if it's DLC, that gives him his original appearance, lol.

I'm still not sure who my main character will be, I mean, when it was first announced and I saw Kratos, I was like yup definitely, but after playing the beta, too many people play as him, I want to be the underdog that kicks ass and takes names! (... While riding around on a skateboard! I'm actually great with Parappa!)

It DOES have quite a few great characters in the roster that I'll be trying out, and I'm actually VERY impressed that they added both Spike and Sir Dan too!

But if we do end up getting Abe, a Disgaea character (PLEASE be Laharl or Valvatorez, PLEASE! or even... MR. CHAMPLOO! YES OH GOD MR. CHAMPLOO PLEASE!!!), Tombi, Kazuma and a Final Fantasy character (Or more... since there's tons of Final Fantasy characters they could use), then I'll be in heaven!


How many times do you people have to be reminded? The new Dante was used in this because of CAPCOM. Superbot was forced to use this new Dante since they have a new DMC coming out. Why would they tell them to use the old one and completely negelect the fact that in the new game coming out it's a completely different Dante. GET OVER IT.

Well we still don't know who the final boss is. He/She MIGHT be a playable character. Here is the music for the boss battle stage.

Yep and DLC characters can't make up for it because big esssence of the game would be the unlocking of the whole roster and such a lack of it makes it less enjoyable

The only thing I don't like it two Coles (evil/good) its a waste of a roster spot especially on one of Sony's most uninteresting characters. They should have just made the evil cole a costume with the same abilitys as good cole

... I think you need to reread what I actually wrote, I never said it was because of Superbot, then again I never said Capcom made them use the new Dante, I said it just seemed like the character was only put in for the sake of advertising the new game in the series...

You'll also see that literally just before that, I wrote:

Which is why I spoke of the DLC costume(s) afterwards, I mean, as long as the new Dante is the face of Dante in this game, Capcom will surely be okay with seeing a classic DLC costume, especially if they can make a little money from it too (I assume all third parties whose characters are given DLC costumes will want money from each sale)

The way I read your comment, it felt as if you were mildly attacking me and grouping me in with "you people" who don't have a clue about these sorts of things...

I will admit that I didn't read your entire comment (since I could care less) and I was not attacking you LOL. It just seems strange how people even bring it up. Capcom aren't idiots. If people see them using the old Dante in All Stars then people will bash them and start requesting them to change the new Dante in the new DMC. I'm glad you can use caps. Didn't think you had the ability to do so, thanks for clearing that up.
