I loved the first game, the second one felt like a downgrade and a big step back,I could'nt even bother to finish it. I hope the third one is more epic in scope.

I really enjoyed DA: O but unfortunately I can't say the same about DA2. Hopefully 3 will be more like O and less like 2.

hmmm,,,don't know what to make of this...DAO(bought the ultimate edition) was utterly fantastic, one of my favorite games this gen...then DA II happened....Yikes, I don't know what Bioware tried to do but they failed in every way possible.
Just as long as they remove the dialog wheel they used in DA2, that thing was awful. At least least in DAO you had to chose properly instead of being shown the bad/good/lets-have-sex options.
Stupid wheel.
Hmm, pie.

They both have their good and bad elements, and even the mages, with all the oppression they've suffered, they have also inflicted equal harm on the general populace, given how easily and quickly a mage can become a powerful entity of destruction. |
It doesn't help much that Every. Single. Mage. in DA2 ends up being either evil or taken over by a demon when they're pressed into a corner.
Makes it hard for them to hold the moral high ground.

That, and if you take into account that the Mages Circles are divided themselves into four factions, with the Libertarian faction being on the rise (the one that wants total freedom from the Chantry and the Templars, by any means necessary), doesn't paint that good of a picture.
If anything, both the Templars and the Mages are in a dangerous shade of grey when it comes to definitions, especially after the last events of DAII (Anders really blew it, so to speak ).

Uh. Hm. Okay? I admit that I'm puzzled. Should I be going to threads about games I don't like and declaring my lack of interest? Is that a tradition around here? I don't even .. |
yeah i also always wonder about such posts, it's like i would go to the barber to say "i don't want a haircut today"
