So I'm turning this into a Steam deals thread and I'll rebrand it at Summer and Winter sales. I'll do my best to update it regularly with daily, mid-week and weekend deals.
Dec. 20 2012
Today's Daily Deals Include:
Flash Deals:
- Natural Selection (60% off)
- Batman: Arkham City (75% off)
- War of the Roses (50% off)
- Fable 3 (50% off)
- Operation Flashpoint: Red River (75% off)
- Intrusion 2 (66% off)
- Deus Ex: Human Revolution (75% off)
- ArtRage 3: Studio Pro (66% off)
- Doom 3: BFG Edition (50% off)
If someone could compile a list of the publisher packs that would help me get them up sooner. If not, I'll do it tonight or on the weekend. Thanks, and happy shopping!

Some pretty good games out there!
Wish I had more money, but with what I have, I probably will get only one game:
Ys: The Oath in Felghana.

To be honest I'm sort of hoping the leaked list is incomplete or false as it seems to be the much smaller scale games being discounted this time around (minus the large bundles). There's nothing wrong with the smaller scale games (I bought the Humble Bundle V and love it!) but I'm hoping for things titles like Alan Wake (which I already own on 360) and LA Noire to be on sale. I missed out a couple weeks back on the LA Noire sale but for $5 it isn't a huge loss even if I end up not liking it too much.
Of the bundles I might pick up the Batman one if it's priced low enough.

When do they usually hold steam summer sales o.o? (Sorry I'm a bit of a new user on Steam ;p)

As far as the big sales go. for the last couple of years they typically hold one in Winter (the Holiday sale) and one in Summer (the Summer sale). The Holiday Sale usually takes place around mid December (I missed it this year so I'm not sure of the exact dates). As for the Summer Sale, the last 2 years it started on the last Thursday of June. They last 11 or so days. This year things are a little late so I'm hoping today (being Thursday) is the day!

Well I'm happy Sanctum is on sale, same for World of Goo. Pack wise I'm looking at Shogun total war 2 and the Anno 2070 pack. I bought C&C Red Alert 3 Uprising on sales last week, but I wish I bought the original game too, I have it on disc but I want it without, so I may just buy the pack so I don't have to deal with them :P
Overall though, nothing that outstanding, I was really hoping Terraria would be on sale :(

That Bethesda pack is looking nice, I've been wanting Skyrim and New vegas for a while now and I'd like to give Brink a try.
Bet with Turkish 1 month sig control: He wins if Playstation All Stars: BR sells more than 5m, I win if it doesn't. I won.
Bet with Conegamer for 1 month sig control: He wins if Orbis/Durango have 3GB of RAM or less, I win if both have more than 3GB. I won.
Bet with man-bear-pig for 1 month avatar control: He wins if Vita sells less than 6.5M in 2013, I win if it sells more.
Bet with MARCUSDJACKSON for 1 month sig control: I win if there is an official price cut for Vita before E3 2013. He wins if there is a price cut at E3. If there is no pricecut until after E3 we both lose.

I bought the QuakeCon (id/Bethesda) Pack last year which included Brink. All in all, it's a pretty messy affair. The ideas are great but the implementation of every single aspect of the game (response of controls, aiming, movement speed, environment navigation, objective management, balancing, heck even graphics, art style, sound and AI) fall short of "good". It's not a totally horrible game but it's not something I could find people playing for more than a few hours just out of curiosity - unless they somehow get addicted to the multiplayer rewards system. I've put in about 12 hours of game time and I had actually forgotten I owned it until just now.
That pack came with Fallout 3, New Vegas, Hunted and all the classic id shooters as well; and I haven't even touched F3 or NV yet. Ugh, I'm so interactive entertainmently constipated.
