Damn, 3DS has Japan in the bag. It only needs the FFVII remake, and it will be over.... assuming at least 1 pokemon n 1 monster hunter game (MH4) will see a release.
I dont want to jump into conclusion, but I think Nintendo has won Japan in handheld terms this gen.

I don't think so. Square Enix don't want people jumping off bridges if this comes to 3DS. Bad PR.

Thats whats so good about the future. We have no idea whats going to happen. You can't completely write off Vita in Japan until at least TGS. If when TGS gets here, Vita still has nothing, THEN we can say its over.
A good example of how things can turn around in Japan, would be PS3. Look how it sold during the first Year. Look at the support. Hell, look how it did until 2009.
I dont understand why you jump all over Vita, if youre not interested in handhelds.

Hey im just saying... MH jumped to Nintendo, and DQ also did it, why FF wouldnt it??? Just imagine in TGS, FFVII remake exclusive for the 3DS :P that would just bury the psvita in Japan.

I still flat out refuse to believe they'd choose 3DS for FF7 Remake. It doesn't have the graphical power. VII is the crown jewel at SE. If/When they remake it, theyll want it to be as big and beautiful as possible. They'll want to do the game justice.
That game will be on home consoles. Unless of course, theres a handheld thats both successful and powerful enough to do it justice.
3DS will get V and VI Remakes though, no doubt.
Fire Emblem crossed the 400k mark.
It's already a part of the huge game club. If it crosses the 500, it may get some premium status
And people doubt the selling power of the DQ series? DQX will do amazingly.

I think it would have done better if SE had shipped out more copies. I haven't seen a copy of it in stock around where I live since Saturday, and that was only at 1 store that was sold out the next time I checked.
Anyway, excellent opening for DQM: Terry and an excellent HW boost!
L5 really should have released Guild 01 in a different week. DQM:Terry is sucking up all the sales.

It's on a dead console, it's pay to play and always online after a certain point, it's a MMO.
