The Machine 5/10
IMDB made it sound more interesting than it is. The usual cliches, evil ministry of defense looking for the perfect soldier, scientist tries to use them to fix his sick daughter, oh no machines are going to replace us. It wasn't a total loss with some interesting parts. It all looks rather dull however, but with a budget of less than $1 million pounds you can't expect much.

Has anyone watched Mrs Brown's boys? My wife recently got me into watching it, it's really funny. Live recorded non stop / unedited sitcom with plenty of breaking the 4th wall moments and fun improvisation.

considered as one of the most disturbing sick movies ever and it is..I hope this movie gets erased from existence and no one ever mentions it again. for some reason im feeling guilty after watching..

kill bill is a remake of this movie or how tarantino would say he was inspired by it and its pretty good ..more dark and mature but kill bill overall is better. tarantino rules.

I watched the first episode of The Quest today. I thought it would be really bad but was pleasantly surprised. Great production values, good actors, awesome sets and great surround sound for a tv show. It's a reality show, 12 contestants get immersed in the biggest larp setup you can think of. I wonder if they can keep it interesting. It promises story based progression, but so far the first episode's actual actions were the standard compete in groups, losing group competes among themselves, rest vote between the losers.
Will watch again next week, see which way it goes.

Even though its made by some of the same people that are involved in The Amazing Race the promos for it made it look to corny for my interest.  The Amazing Race on the other hand is one of my all time favorite shows almost watched all the seasons so far can't wait for the 25th instalment to start in less then two month.

I haven't seen the promos, it's better than most reality shows so far, although the bar isn't set very high for those.
Good thing about living in Canada, The amazing race is on right now. Second season. First season never made it out of Canada. This time they went to Hong Kong, then Macau and now back to the Yukon to go dog sledding. Smaller budget, they can only fly with Air Canada for starters. The rest is pretty much the same. Plenty language barriers up north as well.

The 25th run of the American version is not that far of it starts on the 26th of Septemper.  Don't really like that they are moving it to 8pm on Fridays I really liked the 8 pm Sunday time slot that they had since the 10th season.  Of the 24 seasons so far I probably seen close to 20. 

I started watching it when I moved to Canada in 2002. It took a long time for that show to switch to HD. We always record it so we'll end up watching it on Sunday anyway. Weird to put it on Friday, shows on Friday usually don't survive long...
Always a good laugh when they go to my home country and try to pronounce the street names :) Oudezijdsvoorburgwal for example.
