Right. The Wii is above the Vita now.

And the Vita is 135k lower than the 3DS

Oh dear.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Around the Network

Those numbers are better.... 3DS is seriously killing... KH is next in Japan, I wonder how it will do.

Vita :(

The name is very ironic at this point :D

That always gets brought up. XD

I havent seen it personally, but do people associate The Vita with Ricky Martin (Livin the Vita Loca)?

Vita means life in Spanish (?) They say it because the Vita is doing really bad, it's "doomed."

I think Sony chose the word from Latin, but many european languages have borrowed a mass of words from latin.

Spanish word for Life is Vida. As it is in portuguese too.

Both of those are "romance" languages. (Meaning they where derived from latin.) The romance languages are French, Italian, Spanish and Portguese. Most of the rest of Europes languages are slovic in origin. And the cancerous English is one of the only living runic languages.

I hope Tales of Graces sales prove to Namco that it's worth localizing the games. Heck they don't even need to dub them, just put subs, could probably ask a few die hard tales fans from a Western country to do that for you for free.

LOL, no.

Que? Why not? The English voice actors usually suck anyway

I'd rather hear crappy English voice actors, then some japanese ones that I dont' understand.

By not dubbing a JRPG you assure the game will stay niche. There's no chance of a casual picking up a game that isn't dubbed in their language.

Wait, you also watch English dubbed Naruto, anime or foreign movies? Lol

I do watch english dubbed anime. Problem?
I don't watch foreign movies since I don't like reading subtitles for an extended period of time.

Each person has their own personal preference for this. I would choose to have subed but that is because of watching a lot of fansub content. (After watching it that way the english dubs make my skin crawl. So when I buy the anime I make sure it has the opition.) But I can see why there are a lot of people who want it the other. Also I work late night so when I have my days off(nights) I turn off the sound so I don't wake my siblings.

Raccoon City did better than it deserves to.

And the Vita, a brand new system, selling on par with the about-to-be-replaced Wii? Not looking good for Sony's new handheld...

Does subtitling the original instead of dubbing it make Naruto less crappy?

If you watched english dubbed from the very beginning, you wouldn't have that problem.

Of course the dub "makes your skin crawl" since you're so used to the japanese voices.

I may not be liked for saying his, but in a way I'm happy that current gen hardware is down YOY.

I want next gen to come sooner rather than later; I am more than ready for the next leap in gaming, and I don't want this gen to drag on as long as many companies seem to want it to.
