Demon hunters are relentless vigilantes who execute their infernal targets with an arsenal of ranged weapons. They crouch and take aim far from danger, relying on bows, deadly traps, and projectiles to swiftly bring an end to the creatures that haunt their world.
With sweeping blasts of shot, wide salvos of arrows and timed explosives at their disposal, demon hunters excel at devastating groups of foes who cluster together. Hunters’ pinpoint accuracy also allows them to deal with stronger monsters at a distance: they can snipe at key targets or fall back while snapping off kill shots at advancing foes.
However, demon hunters’ focus on ranged combat and limited melee-weapons training leave them in danger when they’re cornered or surrounded. Evasive skills like defensive rolls and jumps, as well as targeted attacks that hamstring and slow enemies, are as crucial to survival as any arrow in a hunter’s quiver.
Skills
Unlike the primitive Barbarians, Demon Hunters have to manage two types of ressource to use their skills Hatred, a quickly regenerating ressource that is used for offensive skills and Discipline a slow building ressource used for defensive manoeuvers.
The Demon Hunter's skills feel like a mix of DII's Amazon and Assassin classes. You have Bow skills like Multishot, Elemental Arrow, Rapid Fire and Rain of Vengence and Traps like Sentry, Spike Trap, Grenade and Caltrops. From what I saw, Demon Hunters look like a very tactical class where you always have to manage between keeping your enemies at bay, killing them and evading the safety.

5/5 - Since Diablo I's Rogue, I've always loved characters who specialize in bow and arrows. With the interesting mix of skills the Demon Hunter possesses I'm sure I'm gonna have a great time playing with this class. I can't wait to make arrows rain on the forces of evil!
Was deffo the most boring and simple one in Diablo II. I haven't seen enough to make any kind of judgement in Diablo III but I expect it to be much the same. I'll probably stick with the class closest to the good old Paladin.

That'll be the Monk. With his Mantras, it's the closest you'll get to the Paladin Aura's, but instead of being a permanent AoE field, they work more closely like the Barb's Warcries.
OT - The Demon Hunter seems to be a nice mix of the gameplay from both the Assassin class and the Amazon class. The Fan of Knives attack has the potential of being an amazing AoE DPS beast, with the right build.
