I am ready for the season to begin! Even though I am about 99% sure my Cubbies will be a pretty mediocre, if not downright miserable team yet again this year, I am just looking forward to seeing the start of the Theo Cubs and see some of the young guns show what they're made of (Castro, Jackson, Rizzo, etc) so we can get a glimpse of the future of the franchise. Even though we are going to suck this year, at least the future looks bright, whereas last year, we sucked, and our future looked depressing with no end in sight..

I was sleeping, but looking at the recap, it looked like a very close game.

It's a bit of a slap in the face that it's considered a pre-season game, and thus locked behind the MLB Network, but c'est la vie, eh?

Might be different in your region, but here in the Bay Area most preseason games can only be seen on the MLB Network. The Bay series that's going on now is the only exception I know.
