So, 2012 will be in red for Nintendo. Hopes it will be the only one. Anyway, desperate Nintendo could end with some great games instead of eternal droughs.

Bet With Tbone - I win if SSB for 3DS will be less than 200k first week in Japan

Wow if true! I find it hard to believe that Ninty was never in the red during the 64 or Gamecube eras. But if so then kudos.

Supposedly Nintendo was good during that time because of the Advance. N64 really was not that bad and again they had a game boy product to help them as well. Now they just have the wii, which is reaching the end, and they have the 3DS which is still trying to keep its steam going, and the DS which is reaching its end as well.

It is still strange since all of those systems together easily takes the lead, even with Sony having a PS2, PSP, and a PS2, and PSP go. So strange that they are losing so much money. Like some one said in another article, it must be R & D for the Wii U.

Bananaking was right, I was wrong. Like he always is. About the 3DS not selling at least 19.999 million in 2013...

They had Pokemon and the Gameboy for support back then. Don't you remember how massive Pokemon was?

i think they got a huge bunch for every sold n64 game as well. the n64 wasn't very successful but i think they got enough for every game to live with that. i remeber a lot of magazines were talking about that and that other companies weren't very happy about that.
