Ever since Nintendo's GDC announcement in March we've been waiting for Netflix streaming on the 3DS, and it appears tomorrow's eShop update will do the trick. This may be too late for those that followed through on threats to cancel after the new rates were announced yesterday, but all other 3DS owners can get their Parks & Rec (in 3D?) anywhere in range of a WiFi signal. Joystiq also points out there's also two Game Boy games coming in tomorrow's update, Game & Watch Gallery and Baseball,just in case you're interested in using your portable game machine to actually play games.

wow i didnt expect it to come out of nowhere like that in terms of releasing it.

My wife and I got Netflix right about the same time I got my 3DS. This is perfect.

I dont want to sound negative, this is good and all and when i get 3DS I will have this feature for the hell of it, but if its just running off of WiFI i dont see how it can be practical on the go. If im in the city on the train i could get up to maybe five mins. of time b4 im out of range of whatever signal, granted that this signal is not locked, b4 having to look for another one, but more features never hurt. Im hoping that PSV has Netflix, because 3G might be better for this

well im watching kick ass on it right now. it runs good but the movie doesn't cover the entire screen.

That is fricking awesome. I hope the psv will have it because 3g and the awesome screen(supposedly). I doubt it has 3d content though.
