The remedy doesn't require you buy it. It only require you get your hands on it. It's a cheap prescription, find a friend who has one.

unfortunately none of my friends have one, n honestly from what they say they might not get one, the best i can do is go to target, walmart & gamestop

problem with that is im not gonna spend 250 on a system that MIGHT turn out awesome, last time i did that was for Wii n that turned out to be my least favorite console, people told me 2 try pilotwings n how great that was n i was still not blown away. Dont misunderstand, i want both its just for now Vita looks better n 3DS is on the backburner, for now

If you don't buy Ocarina of Time 3D now, you are just being a hater. By buying a 3DS you are not only investing into a new gaming hardware, but also in your longterm image here on VGC. It's a classic win-win-win situation.

ummm.... no im not going to spend 250 on a portable just to play a game i already own, Master Quest and all. That makes no sense, if that makes me a hater, then so be it. i'll get 1 eventually, just like every other Ninty portable

Using middle brightness I get between four and five hours of playtime with 3DS games and seven to eight hours with DS games out of a single charge. That's not triple, Zapp.

Well I use maximum brightness and turn the Wi-Fi on when I play 3DS games and the battery dies in 17 minutes.  I turned the backlighting off (which results in a totally black screen) and played Super Mario 64 for 8 days straight.  Okay.  I lied.  But on average, I get somewhere around three hours worth of play on a normal 3DS game and around (like you said) 8 hours on a DS game.......I think.  I've actually never had the 3DS die on me.  I saw the light turn red once, indicating that it was time for a charge.  I plugged it in.  I tend to play with the system plugged in or charge it whenever I'm not playing.  I got the "triple time" info from a faq I read at work, yesterday.  I was trying to figuer out how to change the game resolution.

On an unrelated note:  Gimme your friend code, Rol.  I'm collecting friends right now!  Mine is 3823-8631-8090

what?

I bought my 3DS to play Zelda as well and I am very happy and impressed by the 3D and the other functionalities in it like the gyro aiming in games. It felt really good when I shot down gohma(SP?) the first boss. I was actually looking up to shot at it on the sealing. lol it felt immersive.

Can’t wait for Mario, Paper Mario, Kid icarus, RE mercenaries, animal crossing and more. Luigis mansion trailer looked good in 3D and so did the other games

Whatever Nintendo does will be called a gimmick since it is different from what they are used to and they need something to hate on :P

1- I don't care about 3D. This trumps over everyting else, because I have to pay for a 100$+ screen that I won't use.

2- If I wanted the DS library, I would get a DS, then I can get the better GBA library as well.

3-9: lol, not worth answering.

I will still get it once I have money.

Above: still the best game of the year.

I wouldn't get a 3DS if someone payed me. I would wait till the vita comes out and buy that. Im not buying either anytime soon, but the vita just shits on it price wise.

You should add that it is def. getting a price drop soon.

Heh, notice how the games themselves are not on the "why you should buy" side :P

This is the main reason keeping me from 3DS right now. It's not even the price that much anymore, as I now have a summer job and could get one if I really want, without taking too big a hit. Problem is I don't really want one right now, and it's because of the lack of games.

I'm waiting for Mario 3DS, Mario Kart, Paper Mario, and Tales. Zelda OOT is really the only game out right now that I would want.

It helps to read a post beyond the first sentence.

Yeah I read it but thought he only meant the Mario for 8 days straight and that he wrote a number but meant another. I did think of it as a lie as well, just wanted to make sure that’s all :P
