Okay.  I lied. 

But on average, I get somewhere around three hours worth of play on a normal 3DS game and around (like you said) 8 hours on a DS game.......I think.  I've actually never had the 3DS die on me.  I saw the light turn red once, indicating that it was time for a charge.  I plugged it in.  I tend to play with the system plugged in or charge it whenever I'm not playing.  I got the "triple time" info from a faq I read at work, yesterday.  I was trying to figuer out how to change the game resolution.

Yeah I read it but thought he only meant the Mario for 8 days straight and that he wrote a number but meant another. I did think of it as a lie as well, just wanted to make sure that’s all :P
