I think the best browser to use on this site is Chrome, maybe Opera.
On VG Chartz' Network Hub page, IE disables the "New Tab" (EDIT: Forums list) options but Firefox sometimes slows down after a while specially if you have more than two, three tabs open even with add-ons. Opera is pretty nice and can handle it pretty well.

It looks great on Chrome plus with all the extensions makes it faster: Flash Block, Ad Block. The only thing Firefox has on Chrome (for me anyway) is the ability to copy and paste from Notepad and disables the double spacing.


Weird. I just remote-controlled my PC at home from work, and it looks like you may be right. You can "Reply", "Report", "View Post" except "QUOTE". I'll try it some more when I get home 'cuz remote can get a little buggy...

To be honest every browser you use is going to be good after they updated them , but its true IE9 doesn't work, its not IE's fault actually its this site's old and crappy coding.

Same here, IE not worked, tried Opera but for some reason it crashes everytime I come to this site, so now I use Chrome just for this site (for the rest of the www I use either IE or Opera). 

Another IE9 does not work post... I am posting this on IE9 by the way. Still waiting on them to make the site fully compatable though. Just remember to hit return after you finished typing and you should be able to reply. You cannot quote though amongst other things.

Anybody using anything other than Opera on this website is wasting his time. I never had a single problem with it... no blank replies for one!

I was using Opera but recently it has started to crash everytime I come to this site. It works well in other sites but crashes when coming here. That's why I'm using Chrome now.

I started using Opera for a while... the program itself is very good i'll agree (and since moving back to FF I have managed to kit it out with a similar interface using add-ons, in some cases better, in some not quite as good)

Whether it is Operas fault or not though (I suspect it is a combo of Operas differences and the fact that websites don't go out of their way to support Opera, even Google FFS) a lot of sites don't display as they should be... a number of times Opera has crashed on VGC for example, and returning to the thread that crashed it makes it crash again.... Amazon.co.uk has an unusual issue with the media viewer when on a products page, instead of the photo viewer there is a blank space, and an extra section is added underneath which has an unplayable video of the product. Then of course there is google images which in Opera is still like the old version. Now some problems can be fixed by masking as Firefox or IE, but not always, and that could make other problems.
