i reckon it would be cool... Sony made the GT series, Microsoft made Forza series... now Nintendo needs to make a racing Sim. :D

Don't think so. The appeal to other bases. Don't get me wrong, but I find sim races boring. I prefer something more like Mario Kart. And they know this.

Let's talk when they release a new Waverace and a new F-Zero.

Definately not a good idea in my opinion...

The only thing that would come out of it is a lesser quality sim compared to Forza and GT, simply due to hardware constraints...

However Mariokart is just as fun if not more fun than racing sims and fits nintendo much better.

Can't see anything good coming out of it to be honest. It wouldn't stack up well against Forza or Gran Turismo, not to mention the onslaught of criticisms that'd ensue for not being creative and just copying other established franchises. Besides, Nintendo already have a number of unique racers that need some serious attention.

Nah, I don't think thats really their style.  They make the silly version of everything, from racing games, tennis and fighting.  I'd rather see them make some oddball FPS or TPS than see them go for a serious racing sim.

Nah that's not Nintendo's forte, thankfully. Racing sims are a snooze fest.
