Mashing buttons in Smash Bros is not an option. It has reached the stage where if a person button bashes, I can reliably kill them without taking a single % of damage.
As for the randomly generated items thing that comes up every time someone who doesn't know a thing about Smash Bros talks about smash bros, yes, there are randomly generated items. No, you cannot rely on them. Healing items overpowered? Fft. Not unless you're playing Stamina, and not since original Smash Bros where Maxim Tomato was 100 and Heart was infinite.
Only the Smash Ball is unbalanced, and that depends on who you're playing as (as they definitely gave some people unstoppable stuff, like Olimar and Sonic, while Donkey Kong and Wario get shat on)

Just because it is getting a Panzer Dragon title, means nothing at this time.
The Gamecube was also getting a Final Fantasy, but it turned out to be below FF standards.

Its got fail written all over it, and why wouldn't they first make a balance of more hardcore titles such as a rip off of Time Crisis. instead kinect is launching with Zumba Fitness. Now all these titles are aimed at the causal market. Now the section of the causal game market these games tailor to are Mothers or kids (mostly girls) as you are not going to see an 8-30 year old male playing Dance masters when they can play call of duty instead. Whats an other problem with these games they are either related to the Wii or they are familiar to the eye toy. There rarely a thing orginal there. On a more related topic, Kinect is fail to you, but to the general public, you know, all the ones who bought the wii because of games like these, it's gonna be freaking sweet...whihc is exactly why MS has banked so much on Kinect. The only fail I see in that list is the fail of troll.

They turned Joyride into a full game, and the Wii proves that "hard core" gamers are a minority. This will be a cash cow for MS.
