I've played a fair bit of it, always just havin fun with friends and never actually trying to get good
Mashing buttons in Smash Bros is not an option. It has reached the stage where if a person button bashes, I can reliably kill them without taking a single % of damage.
As for the randomly generated items thing that comes up every time someone who doesn't know a thing about Smash Bros talks about smash bros, yes, there are randomly generated items. No, you cannot rely on them. Select an item from Brawl, and I shall instruct you in how you can make the opponent picking that item up either do nothing, or in some cases be a liability http://super-smash-bros.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_items_in_Super_Smash_Bros._Brawl N.B. I play with healing turned off, because I will admit the healing items can be a bit OP |
Healing items overpowered? Fft. Not unless you're playing Stamina, and not since original Smash Bros where Maxim Tomato was 100 and Heart was infinite.
Only the Smash Ball is unbalanced, and that depends on who you're playing as (as they definitely gave some people unstoppable stuff, like Olimar and Sonic, while Donkey Kong and Wario get shat on)
Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
@mr. khan yeah DK really got screwed, I think Luigi's the best in my opinion

So you will play the game even if it sucks or if it is a spin-of ?
Just because it is getting a Panzer Dragon title, means nothing at this time.
The Gamecube was also getting a Final Fantasy, but it turned out to be below FF standards.

Check the List of games that will be available for Kinect:
Look at that list!!!!! Its got fail written all over it, and why wouldn't they first make a balance of more hardcore titles such as a rip off of Time Crisis. instead kinect is launching with Zumba Fitness. Now all these titles are aimed at the causal market. Now the section of the causal game market these games tailor to are Mothers or kids (mostly girls) as you are not going to see an 8-30 year old male playing Dance masters when they can play call of duty instead. But another Disclaimer on the Kinect is that majority of the Causal market Kinect is aimed at already have an Wii and an array of family favourite Nintendo games to draw in all types of gamers. Whats an other problem with these games they are either related to the Wii or they are familiar to the eye toy. There rarely a thing orginal there. My recommendation is to save your money and wait yes Wait until there are better games, that gives you an back up if it bombs and no more games are being made for it or that any good games come out for it. edit: The NY Post reports Microsoft is set to spend $500 million dollars in marketing Kinect, the Xbox 360 controller-free camera, this holiday. http://au.xbox360.ign.com/articles/112/1128566p1.html I wouldn't rest 500,000,000 on those titles, i dont know MS really risky disclaimer: while i do have an PSN symbol below i do have an xbox and was considering buying the Kinect. Also i dont play XBL because it isn't free and hence no gamer card. again no PS3 fanboy here. |
*looks at sig* "Oh, I get it!"
On a more related topic, Kinect is fail to you, but to the general public, you know, all the ones who bought the wii because of games like these, it's gonna be freaking sweet...whihc is exactly why MS has banked so much on Kinect. The only fail I see in that list is the fail of troll.

How does joy ride seem like a big addition to the genre lol. Didn't that game start out being free, but then they decided to make you pay for it? Is it the controls that make it special? If it is, I have yet to see it working, but then again, people only post videos of kinect not working. That list is utter rubbish to "hardcore" gamers around the world.

They turned Joyride into a full game, and the Wii proves that "hard core" gamers are a minority. This will be a cash cow for MS.
