Forums - Sony Discussion - Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time is Awesome.

Looks like I'm the only one who prefered ToD but i'm guessing that's because it was the first on the PS3 i have a soft spot for it. Either way the series is one of my favourites. I really love Insomniac ann Naughty Dog as developers. I think they are the best at what they do.

So I just found out Sigmund was voiced by Nolan North.

/mind blown

Woah is there anything Nolan North CAN'T voice act?!! He's like in every game :D!

Yes, it's getting stupid. Him and Steven Blum. I'm really tired of hearing the same voices in every game. Sorta ruins he experience.

Defo one of the best if not the best R&C. Now I feel like playing it again.

What I want to see in the next R&C is massive planets with alot of exploration and the space exploration to also be massive.

You are danm right my friend, this game is superb. I would want a break before more R&C though..

I play PC and PS3. The best of both worlds.

Still haven't bought this but its up for Platinum price on Play.com now so I'll be picking it up shortly! R&C rank among my all time favorite franchises from the PS2 era, now all I need is Jak and Daxter!

You suck for taking this long to get the game. And you call yourself an Insomniac fan >=(

I would put it second in the series, behind only Up Your Arsenal, and I'm beginning to doubt that the latter will ever be dethroned as king. Definitely a huge leap up from Tools of Destruction, though. I can't understand all of the reviews which claimed that nothing had changed between the two games. Everything had changed. Space Exploration. Azimuth. The hover boots. The lack of Clank. The Clank platforming missions with the Chronoscepter.

Fantastic game. I'd put it behind only Uncharted 2, GoW Collection, and ACII for 4th best PS3 game of last year.

Hopefully Insomniac's next announcement is a new R&C, and not the EA Partners title or *ugh* Resistance 3.

I would agree with this if Nathan Drake and Merchant of Persia sounded at all like SIgmund. But they don't.

I got it the day it came out!  I just got inundated with other games, and didn't really get around to playing it til last week.  :P

At least I opened the packaging that first week, which is more than I can say for other games.

*looks at his sealed day one copy of Resonance of Fate*

But the point of my statement was that Sigmund sounds nothing like Nolan North, and I was amazed to find out he was behind such a persona.

The issue isn't an overuse of Nolan North, but rather an overuse of Nathan Drake's "every man" voice/attitude.  North is capable of far more than just that, but he's being type casted more often than not these days.

I agree. Just platinumed it too.
