those numbers are incredible, especially in comparison to the dark knight.

the release of the 3D version next year may very well be THE deciding point whether the technology has any chance to reach the mass market in the near future.
i don't see it happening, mainly because i am not interested in it at all and don't see who would be ;), but i will postpone my final judgement until then.

I'll bet that half the ppl who bought it didn't know there wasn't going to be any bonus features.  Now of course a lot of ppl don't even care for the bonus features.  But is that really the reason why they would release a copy without any bonus features?  Just to rerelease a copy that has some and make ppl buy another copy?  This is the only reason I can think of...

Was it just me or was Avatar the most ridiculously over hyped movie ever? It wouldnt even be in my top 1000 all time movies it is just utter drivel. I'm surprised it hasnt got Microsoft on the box to be honest!

QFT!!!!! people really need to watch more movies

Not worth watching outside of an IMAX 3D Theater. You're better off watching:

Lawrence of Arabia
Dances With Wolves
Star Trek: Insurrection
The Last Samurai

At least the acting and characters were much better and had more depth. Then there's alternate same type of movies in FernGully: The Last Rainforest and Pocahontas.

Avatar ruled. Though there are a lot of nerd-snobs who hate everything popular; half of these people are raving 300! fans and love the band Tool.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
