The price drop for the Xbox Premium in Canada was Cnd $100  or  ~USD $95 so the Wii's overwhelming preference in Canada might not be as big as in other months if the price cut had an impact (even a short one).

So I hope people stop saying that VGC is being anti-sony biased and intentionally undertracking PS3. If anything, this shows its being overtracked.

I think this and some other issues with tracking is caused by just the overall low number of sales. The smaller the number sold, the more that VGC's small sample base can cause data to skew too high or too low based on normal fluctuations in number of buyers.

Unfortunately, these facts will be quickly forgotten. I expect Diomedes to completely block this information from his mind.

Nice increase for the 360. Should have another increase this month but i doubt that big.

 qualifiers are ridiculous... it's like saying:

PS3 will sell over 100 mln in its life time ... if PS3 can sell over 90 mln.

i recall the '05 nba finals (or 04 or 03?)  when the pistons were playing the dysfunctional lakers.  one commentator's prediction was: "the lakers are gonna sweep the pistons... if they don't, i expect it to be a close series."

well, in the end, the pistons won 4-1.  so he was... plain wrong.

anyway, enough digression.  forget qualifiers.  you're making a prediction, for crying out loud.  if you need qualifiers, don't bother predicting.  we're not doing math here, probability of such and such happening if such and such happens... etc etc etc.

that's why i love JohnLucas predictions so much--one number, one date.  period.  the way it should be.
