 qualifiers are ridiculous... it's like saying:

PS3 will sell over 100 mln in its life time ... if PS3 can sell over 90 mln.

i recall the '05 nba finals (or 04 or 03?)  when the pistons were playing the dysfunctional lakers.  one commentator's prediction was: "the lakers are gonna sweep the pistons... if they don't, i expect it to be a close series."

well, in the end, the pistons won 4-1.  so he was... plain wrong.

anyway, enough digression.  forget qualifiers.  you're making a prediction, for crying out loud.  if you need qualifiers, don't bother predicting.  we're not doing math here, probability of such and such happening if such and such happens... etc etc etc.

that's why i love JohnLucas predictions so much--one number, one date.  period.  the way it should be.
