Seeing as how Sakaguchi claims this is going to be a `AAA` type of title, you can expect it to have a big budget (for a Wii title) and lots of marketing from Nintendo. Hopefully it`ll do well. New IPs are like a crap shoot unfortunately sales-wise though. Especially in Japan. Looking at 2009 figures, there aren`t really any big selling new `core` IPs that stood out. Just a bunch of `casual`games and established IPs. It`s a tough market to crack. Gamers don`t like to take risks and see established IPs or casual titles as safe bets. I don`t believe there is a single new `core` IP within Japan`s top 50 for 2009. Just established `core` IPs (Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy, Dynasty Warriors 2314, random Gundam game no. 768) and `casual` games.

Yeah, you're right. Also, The Last Story was trademarked in NA (and Europe).
