Forums - Website Topics - VGC 3.0 - can you come up with original website names?

You know technically this should be 4.0.

Started with the White VG Chartz, then the Blue VG Chartz, now were on the Black VG Chartz.

Troll Chat should be the name for the community site ;)

I'm a fan of the VGC branding. Most respectable media outlets like 3-letter branding.

News:
VGC Wire
VGC Livewire
VGC Gamefeed (although this sounds more like an RSS sub)

Charts:
VGC Insider
VGC Pro

@ioi

Any names stand out for you? Let us know what you like to see if we agree

Personally I think the suggestions for "GamerCore" or "GamerFeed" or anything generic involving games/gamers just seems to simple. Sites like IGN.com, 1up.com, Kotaku, etc are all well known gaming related sites without having anything generic or simple. They at least use a gaming acronym to make them sound more news official.

@nightsurge - I wouldn't agree.

GameTrailers, GameSpot, IGN (Imagine Games Network), GamePro, GameInformer are all pretty lacking in originality but at the same time they get straight to the point.

Coming up with names isn't easy (as we can see), but I do think we need a balance between something unique and different but also something that gives some insight into what the site is about. Kotaku is popular due to the Gawker network and heavy promotion, not because it is a particularly great name.

I see what you mean.  I think IGN has the perfect ballance as far as naming.  It's acronym is easy to pick up on and call it by it, and at the same time it stands for something that sounds like both professional and entertaining games journalism.

This one is old and maybe the whole naming is already done but I had these ideas once:
VG abc -
