True, nexy week should see 360 > PS3 by quite a bit. 30k+?
PSP(Go) needs a big pricecut and PS3-like advertising.
PS3 is doing good compared to X360, and I agree in large part because of the price. If you look at the two devices you have two $300 devices. PS3 comes with a built in blu-ray player, the X360 comes with better online (that you have to pay for) and more "American" style games and a bigger library. They are pretty equal in my eyes.
Wii is down YoY, but that is to be expected. Last January was the last of the shortages for Wii. People were still trying to buy Wii's promised to their kids for Christmas, the same isn't true now. I expect Wii will be down YoY in Q1, but will be up YoY in Q2/Q3 (both of those were really weak last year)
Is it not really strange that PSP is strongly up YoY? Why would that be? There's no big release in the chart. Was there a new model? Last week it was very weak YoY, this week it's very strong...
And the highest PSP title is at 26th. This isn't making much sense to me.

still surprised how ps2's are still selling. But im also surprised to see how the ps3 came on top of the 360 especially so close to mass effect 2 day.

My god at nintendo.
There's not a single 1st party game in the top ten for MS or Sony. And yet, nintendo makes the top 4.
To me, that's where money is.

except it isn't up YoY, it is down YoY. Kitler got the PSP and PS2 backwards for 09

But it still doesn't make any sense... Wasn't last week really awful? What's changed between this week and last week.
Statistical anomaly? People suddenly realized the PSP Go! can be played at pool parties? Were they giving them 2 for the price of 1 at Walmart?

Im sure the ads for the game will bring in some new people. Even if it is mainly a story driven game, people will see the ads and be pretty interested.
