The Lost Planet 2 cameos is the kick ass news.

But now he's teasing face melting news.

Gears 3 is the most likely what he will annouce.

It annoys me when this happens and not just because they use twitter, are they trying to be pre-teen girls? I hear an announcement about an upcomming announcement that when they finally get round to telling us what the big secret is I don't care.
I've spent so much time speculating and being excited for it that by the time it's annonced I already heard it on t'internet as one of the many specualtion sor it's a case of finally and the impact is less.

Gears of Tournament?

Call of Duty is irrelevant in this or any discussion involving fall releases.

If he announces a Gears 3 release this year the Xbox 360 mauls the competition in 2010 period.

Microsoft and Activision had no problem when Modern Warfare and Halo 3 released the same year. Halo 3 released September and Modern Warfare released November. Both had incredible sales and so did Assasins Creed. As for advertising MS would gladly boost advertising $ to pitch both games.

Think about what better way to tell hardcore gamers they are not being abandoned for casuals with Natal. MS point blanks says all types of gamers will be taken care of.
