Normally I'd agree but, this year is different.

For me at least, the next 3 months will be busier than the Christmas season was and I don't think I'm alone.

I also believe a lot of people will be picking up PS3's in these months. And I believe MGS4 (along with Uncharted!) will be a great/cheap game to accompany their new PS3.

So I expect sales to stay put for a good, long while for MGS4.

Because it would draw attention to how little gameplay there actually is, especially when you earn the Film Buff trophy for having watched 80 years of cutscenes.
