REVENGE OF THE SITH!!!!! (the only amazing prequel)!

________

& ROFL ROFL ROFL @ peopel bashing star wars prequels massively

for our generation they are GREAT films!

Star Wars RULES

there won't ever be & never was before it a phenomenon like it!

im 21 and I can safely say that the new trilogy is nothing compared to the original films

So what, who are to say what we can or cannot like? I don't like you saying I'm "kidding"

I did not say anything of the sort, he said something that I disagreed with, so I responded, since when is that not allowed or telling him what he can or cant like? also, im not kidding, I honestly do think the new films are bad and that the original trilogy is superb, im just as entitled to post that as you are to post the opposite.

"also, you people gotta be kidding me with Revenge of the Sith, it may have been the best of the new trilogy"

the rest of that post says this "but it has nothing, nothing at all on any of the originals imo"

note the final word IMO, do you know what that means?

I was strongly disagreeing with others opinions and stating my own, im entitled to do so, as is anyone else here, in fact people have done, other people didnt even say IMO in this thread or others, yet you dont have a go at them I notice...

Empire strikes backs...

But who voted for the phantom menace? that like... so wrong

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

LOL @ Attack of the clones

no-ones voted for it......yet

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

Revenge of the Sith was my favorite.

TO GOD BE THE GLORY

My favourite is The Empire Strikes Back.

1) Episode 5
2) Episode 4
3) Episode 3
4) Episode 6
5) Episode 2
6) Episode 1

I love Empire Strikes Back, New Hope, Revenge of the Sith and Return of the Jedi. Attack of the Clones is pretty good. I'm not a fan of Phantom Menace.

EDIT: Revenge of the Sith because of the special effects and some of the secondary actors (though the acting in the original trilogy is much better). I agree that Hayden Christiansen is awful and needs to be shot out of a cannon as far away from Hollywood as humanly possible. That would be Tokyo, I think.

I'm sorry, but a bad movie is a bad movie.  That doesn't mean you can't like them, but episodes I-III just aren't good.  The *only* reason those are even remembered is because episodes IV-VI are so good.  If Episode I-III were released today or in 1980 and you asked someone what Star Wars was, they probably would have no clue what you're talking about.  They would be those obscure movies that movie geeks fantasize about and gush over because they know about it and you don't.

The Phantom Menace is just awful and luckily I think they realized how awful that movie was and episodes II and III were at least better, but that really isn't saying much.

Revenge of the Sith was just a bunch of crap happening at once and a giganticly long fight scene that ended in the dumbest way possible with a couple of horrible references to marquee characters from IV-VI (Chewy, really?).  Oh, and Padme dying of a broken heart.

Again, if released today, those movies would be remembered about as well as The Peacemaker.

Of course, at least episodes I-III aren't nearly as bad as the terrible idea of making Greedo shoot first and the blasphemous ending of Return of the Jedi.

I think it's pretty common knowledge that Empire > all others.

Curiously enough, I know several people that have watched the Star Wars movies (for the first time) in their numerical order instead of the release order, and all of them have uniformly judged the entire series as wonky, cheesy, plodding, and outright boring piece of crap, with ROTS as the only watchable outing of them all.

At any rate, I picked Empire, with III as a close second.

Wow.. I voted for Empire Strikes Back but didn't know I'd be in the majority.

Return of the Jedi. It really made a good showing of what the universe was about (in terms of not being so serious, yet still obviously having such seriousness to it. Battle of Endor was multifaceted and incredibly epic, something they tried (but failed spectacularly) to replicate in the Battle of Naboo

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
