Microsoft I'd say was decent. It was great in the sense that after sending in my red ringed 360 I had it back in a week and it works fine....but the bad part of the service was the phone call. I got some Indian woman on the phone and I couldn't understand a damn thing she said which made the whole process take a lot longer when I had to say pardon after each thing she said. Now I know pretty much every company has foreign people on the phones so I can't say its just MS, but boy was this annoying.

Why can't an American company get American people to do the talking. If you think I'm being racist then fuck you; try having a conversation over the phone with an Indian woman who you can't understand.

Well, my PS3's never broken down, but I have sent some enquiries to Sony in the past- for example regarding mysteriously disappearing hard disk space.

They generally reply with one line of vague response, followed by a paragraph of Sony propaganda and a helpline number.

well I have so far been in contact with Sony 3 times..

1st: I had freezing problems on BFBC, they told me to reset to manufractor settings, I did and it was fixed..

2nd and 3rd.. my PS3 broke twice and both times I was helped for free although I was out of warranty..

I am a very satisfied customer.. thats fo' sho

When my Xbox 360 HD messed up, customer service was nice and sent me a refurbished one, but the people I talked to were retarded, it took me forever for them to understand what my problem was, they kept thinking my Xbox was the one with the problem and kept trying to pressure me to send it.

Only once and it was the whole dual layer read error for the Wii cause my mom smokes... my Wii was a year out of warranty, not only did Nintendo fix it, they installed a new disc drive and replaced the faceplate that my friend dented up, then extended my warranty another year from the date I got it back, so overall really sweet.

I didn't realize you could do it over the internet. I must have been living under a rock for a bit.



When my BR drive stopped working Sony replaced it for free even though it was out of the 1 year warranty. Another time they delivered a new HDD caddy + 4 screws for free and took a couple of days to get here. I heard their PS2 customer service was mostly shit so I guess they've improved there.

The various times I had to get my 360 replaced took from 2-4 weeks. With a month of XBL Gold each time. I had to talk to an Indian guy the first time but he seemed competent and I could understand what he was saying. Good CS from both companies, shame about the actual hardware.
