I think it's funny that the Dub version of BLOPS is doing horribly.

That's because it releases in over a month, the subtitled edition releases in a few days. It will pick up closer to release. This happens every year.

I think Black Ops II might end up being the first Call of Duty game to reach 500k lifetime in Japan.

It currently looks like it might do 200k FW and with the help of the dubbed version it should do it!

Btw if it does reach 500k then it will be the fourth western franchise to reach that much on one console in Japan (behind Crash Bandicoot, Ratchet & Clank and Just Dance). Very impressive.

That's mighty impressive.

Also, I did not know what about western IP's in Japan. Really interesting. (The Ratchet & Clank number is from heavy bundling, I believe)
