No 1pt doesn't mean 1k, no one knows what it exactly means but  you can measure it based on games of similar genre/from the same franchise that were released before.

And yes export Syria is Xillia, blame google translator .

You did say companies and Namco doesn't represent the whole JRPG scene.



MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.

I guess I should have clarified better.  It is companies in Microsoft's case (because Square Enix was heavily relying on MS at the beginning also).

DQ is doing fantastic considering that it still has a week and a half to go. If this can match Xillia, Wii may stand a chance during the holiday.
...okay, matching Xillia probably sounds like a bad joke looking at COMG points, but if we assume that Xillia does ~650k LT, then that's definitely achievable for DQC if it gets the magical Wii holiday title effect (as demonstrated by DKCR, which is already approaching 1m, KEY, which could leg past 500k easily, Super Mario Collection, which would've topped 1m if it weren't limited, and MSM, which may be looking at 700k LT, last year and NSMBW in 2009). As a DQ title, this could be fairly huge and may propel the Wii a fair bit.
