With 2 months to go, and being at 140 points right now, I'm wanting to see if people think ToG:F will reach the other Tales pre order numbers. Remember the demo just came out today, so if it's any good pre orders should pick up. For reference here is the pre order for the previous ones courtesy of Ncortis_Nox(sp?):

ToG 357pt

ToV PS3 483pt

ToV 360 225pt

I think it'll easily pass TOV 360, maybe even by the end of this month, it definitely won't reach ToV PS3, ToG Wii is trickier, but I'm gonna say it'll get close but not quite pass it.

I don't think we'll be seeing any more 1 point days for GT5 and even if we do they'll be offset by the final days leading up to release where it'll do 20-40 points a day. And yeah the PS3 version of NV will definitely sell better than the 360 version in Japan. I'm hoping the PS3 version will do over 150k lifetime.

I am new to this japan preorder chart. how do points correspond with preorders?

It isn't too much precise, but it is something like 10 points= 5000 preorders.

EDIT: more likely 2500, but I don't know, it works for some games and for others not :/

I would say that 10 points = 5000 sales FW.

That is not set in stone, some games have a 1:1 COMG points:FW sales, where as some games have like an almost 10:1 COMG:FW sales. The rule of thumb is the more casual the game is, the more likely it is that it'll approach the COMG pre order, if it's a more hardcore game, it'll be lower in the ratio.
