For the same reason that make them love One Piece Pirate Warrior, because they all japanese are musou fans, and because they are fan of the name Senran Kagura, not only the gameplay.

Im a fan of One Piece and I was excited about the game but in my case at least it wasnt because of the gameplay but because it was the first game in the series to follow the manga history and not being original nor fighter
