Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Joystiq stealth trolling the Wii, too

Why don't we ever see something like this??

PS360 software flew off the shelves, proving that PS360 games sell ... as long as they're published by 3rd parties.

Problem is, that isn't really a bad thing. I'd say a better one would be something like

PS360 software flew off the shelves, proving that PS360 games sell... as long as they're shooters.

It gives the implication that only shooters sell, which I imagine is insulting to the fans of HD consoles. This statement is about as true as Joystiq's.

Around the Network

Most major game sites tailor their coverage to the "hardcore" console gamer. They enjoy bashing the Wii at every opportunity. This is nothing new.

problem is that it is ... true !

this is not trolling

or then creating a thread about this should be called "dammage controlling"

We don't see something like this because both first and third party games sell on the HD consoles. For recent examples, check out Uncharted 2, InFamous, and Forza 3.

In other words, Nintendo has the strongest first party. How insulting!

Almost as arrogant as third parties proudly announcing that they are too incompetent to make as popular games as Nintendo, so they are forced to give up half of the video game market. :P

The comment is based on an NPD top 10, of which all Wii / DS games are published by Nintendo. I think it's a fair comment when using that as your source material.

It's not a troll comment. It's an observation

There's no hope for a Wii-is-doomed free week.

@Galaki you are abit over exageration to make a FUD out of nothing.

this is not the only thread u make about "OH Everbodiez hatez nintendo".

but this time, even out of context it's true.

at most it's critics to third parties than nintendo.

You saw the numbers.  There's nothing to damage control on Nintendo's end.

Yesterday the Wii was not doomed. Today it is again.

Maybe on sunday, it won't be doomed again.
