AC is a niche thing, and will always be a niche thing, many people don't like Mechs/Mecha, and even in the segment that do, some only like western Mechs (aka MechWarrior), and others only like japanese mecha (stuff like AC or Gundam).

Exactly. Always wanted to play a good looking Armored Core game and each time I see pictures I'm impressed, but then I watch a gameplay video and I just don't care anymore.

I don't understand the appeal in these kind of games, I think I played the demo of some armored core on my PS3 a long long time ago in a galaxy far far away, I didn't like it too much.
