Uncharted 2 has a real villain : Lazarevic. Uncharted : DF is poor on that aspect.

yea as most of the post here say U2 was far better. Part one was a good game but part 2 was epic.

While i like them both i have some big issues with them,a dn the final battle in U2 was just plain awful

@ bhr-3, concerning your comments about just walking around. Weren't you amused by the witty banter, and interested by the spectacular environments. The pacing is perfect as well, massive shootouts have to be contrasted by more quiet times, to balance it out, and not make you die of a heart attack from over-excitement

Uncharted 2 has to much action. It is just a bunch of over the top moments that don't really involve the player. They seem fun, and cool, but they happen so fast they just stream through your brain. Uncharted DF was a much better paced game, that made you think, and take things slower. This approach makes the game much more memorable. Sadley, for the most part people want streamed entertainment, and think that downloaded experiances are boring, and not worth the wait (thats an analogy).

From a controls standpoint though, AT kills DF. Everything is way smoother in AT, and more natrual.

Multiplayer is ZERO value added. I do not get the multiplayer craze now days. Its the same pointless nonsense in every game. AT is no better than MW or MGO, or any other game out there. Its all just pointless killing for stats no one cares about. If that is your thing more power to you. I just wish they would keep it out of my story based games.

I know how you feel, i felt the same way after losing my virginity, while it wasn't so good as the sex I had afterward. It always had a special place in my heart. But, it still was not as good.

but if you played U1 and then U2 back to back ull see that theres way less massive shootouts and as i pointed out with my quotes up there the gameplay/strategy of using the cover and the whole map from the first are not really here in AT, AT feels like a whole nother game type

In U1 it felt like it was u against the world for most all of the game didnt get that in U2

they should of had the online mode survival available for SP like MW2 has spec ops that would of helped U2 out for me

Sorry man , Uncharted 2 is better in every way, especially the campaign, Don't get me wrong I love the first, but Uncharted 2 just kept getting better and better, from the train fight, to the reckage, to elaina picking you up in the jeep, I mean way more massive fights with much better , funner weapons. I love Uncharted 1, but Uncharted 2 is the best game I have ever played , and I has my PS2 for close to 10 years , I own a 360 with 26 games and a PS3 with 24 games. So I don't see it.

I kinda agree with you and i kind of dont. First of all i enjoyed the first one more....maybe because its the first game in the series and everything is new for example the great environments, animations and action set pieces, and if you were me who played the first game about a million times the awesomeness of the game kinda wares off......and by the time the 2nd one came it, you become accustomed to the game and everything feels familiar rather than fresh.

Another point against the 2nd game is that it had way more hype...and alot of the game was shown in videos and trailers( they should not have shown the video they showed at e3!!!!! that was one of the best gaming moments and e3 robbed me of it!!!!by the time i played it i already knew how that whole level was gona play out ) whereas uncharted 1 i bought on a whim and every level surprised me.

But despite these points against the 2nd game i can stil see why most people belive it to be the better game and why it is the better game. The final boss battle i thought was kewl and the ending was even better. And u talk about DF being harder...i think it was more annoying than difficult whereas the 2nd one was just right and the stealth was kewl to.

Overall what im saying is that had i played U2 first i would have liked it more and it is definately the better game but i understand why you prefered DF as i did 2=)
