I really don't like repeating myself. I don't know the true answer, no one else does either at this moment in time, it's just a general beleif. I'm wanting everyones opinions and to see if this will effect sales at all, I havn't even said my own opinion on the matter and you're talking to me like I'm the one who initially started the rumor.

 

EDIT:   The truth hurts response is perfect. That's what i was expecting from this thread. He listed what he thought it was and some other questions.

I'm not taking this out on you.  Just trying to promote some critical thinking.  You said you were pissed at the news/rumor.  There are many reasons to cut content.  I'm sure Duke Nukem Forever has enough cut content to make 10 games.  But you are saying you are pissed over one possible reason you assume it to be, which I personally don't think makes sense, and promoting FUD.

That's true, I should restate that to," If it's true I would be pissed."

No one knows for sure thats just a general consensus as it makes a lot of sense. Everyones worried about it. Not claiming to have a crystal ball, but a lot of people seem to think the same. Just here for opinions and educated guesses.

 

Also i didn't say it was news exactly I said news/rumor.

The general consensus of the forum community is no consensus at all.......

Pretty sure the recent rumour was the Kotaku interview which was clearly a PR move by SE to start getting people thinking about DLC.  You need to get rid of the conspiracy theory about the 360.  this "deleted stuff" was never going to be put in the original game, it was clearly designed to be DLC so SE could make as much money as possible.

It'll probably be DLC. Nowadays, lots of games are released in fragments. Anyhoo, I'm probably going with the PS3 version.

The content was NOT removed for 360's sake and Square said as much! Anything more was just fanboys completely implying stuff that Square never said in the slightest.

 

In fact, many PS2 era RPG's and 360 RPG's already out use more discs than FF13 on 360! So there's NO reason they wouldn't have used more dics if they wanted too.

 

Here is the ACUAL QOUTE from an article about the interview. It specifically DOES NOT say the content was cut for 360, but rather game volume and balance

 

The content was already running on actual PS3 hardware, it seems, but was left out due to considerations for game volume and overall game balance.

 

Anyways polls here are funny, PS3 always wins by like 20,000%...this place is unbelievably PS3 biased.

 

"Which system has the best version of Halo poll": would be Ps3 99%, Xbox 360 1% lol. Even though PS3 does not have Halo.
