Due to limited poll options I had to combine a few genre's

IF you have a specific one, merely say its name & it shall be added to the OP.

Best can mean many things, the one you think will have the most quality

Also say which genre you think will do the best, in sales!

for me the BEST one will be the RPG genre = FF13, Pokemon Heart Gold, Golden Sun DS, DQIX.....wow

I think the one that will do the BEST is probably Casual or platformer (due to NSMB Wii) or Shooter ofcourse

FFXIII, Heart Gold/Soul Silver, Mass Effect 2 and Fable 3.

Those are the only four titles you need to have in your head when you decide how to vote.

Action Adventure is definitely the best.

Alan Wake
Heavy Rain
Zelda Wii
The Last Guardian
etc.

Most successful will be Shooter, I'd say, carried by CoD7, MW2 and BC2. I don't think NSMBWii alone can beat all of those. It depends what you mean by "Casual". If you include Music and Fitness in there, it could well be Casual. Or Sports, thanks to WSR.

Definetly RPG's, for now atleast for Q1. To add more on darth's list: Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey, Resonance of Fate, Mass Effect 2, Last Rebellion, WKC.

I think the FPS and casual games will sell best.

i went with shooter because over half of all games (marketed at me) are shooters.

FPS are just boring now, point shoot kill.

OMG they invented a new genre, casual!!! This must mean tha next is coming the HARCORE genre, full of blood, body slashing, never ending cutscenes, very dark and almost real life graphics!!! The hardcores must be rejoicing right now.
