Do you often pirate things on a computer?

Yes all the time 68 38.42%

Sometimes 59 33.33%

I try not to 29 16.38%

No I never pirate 21 11.86%

Total:177

I will take Windows CD keys off of a computer I no longer plan to use and put it on another. Might not be piracy, but it is illegal.

Other than that, no. I don't pirate.

Only music

                                       That's Gordon Freeman in "Real-Life"

I said "sometimes". I watch a couple of TV shows online (never download them), and I have a SNES and GBA emulator, and don't feel bad about using them at all; they're dead consoles.

I've never pirated PC games.

Only music, though that has gone down recently. My pirated music far exceeds my legit music but I try to buy the real thing if I really like the artist and it is still in circulation. I don't like buying music online, so it's really just buying CDs or pirating for me :/

Just throwing this out, people that pirate music, buy more music then anyone else.

You know this how?

OT: Sometimes, but not often. It's usually movies.

And there are several other studies that came to the same conclusion.

Too lazy to pirate.

Odd. Future. Wolf. Gang. Kill. Em. All. OFWGKTA Don't give a fuck!

Fuck Steve Harvey. FREE EARL!

Final Fantasy Versus XIII will be the GREATEST game EVER made!!!

I'd take a bullet for Square-Enix!

I pirate TV shows and movies all the time.

With TV shows, it's because I'm not willing to wait months or years until the shows come over here. With movies, I go to the cinema to see movies really worth seeing, and download mostly older movies.

With software, I rarely pirate these days (though I used to pirate a lot when I was a teenager... I don't think it really harmed many companies since there's no way I would have the money to buy most software). But nowadays I have money to buy most of the software I use.

Games (as a special kind of software), I don't pirate any more. I can't recall the last time I downloaded a game illegally, but again when I was a kid/teenager I hardly had any non-pirated game.

I generally don't pirate anymore. I did a lot just a year ago though, but now I'd just feel bad about it. I don't like it.

Do you feel bad about pirating TV shows and old movies?

I mean, you can watch them on TV for free... and unless your viewing habits are being tracked, it's not like anyone will ever know that you watched it (on TV or with a copied version).

The only things i really go for are TV shows that we don't get here (Australia), otherwise generally I don't and I never pirate games.
