This is why I have a nice big anime collection on myanimelist.net and an empty game library on vgChartz. The system there just works better. Getting that here requires is an "Add" button on the search page next to each game that preferably will let you choose where to add it to.

I've suggested this a few times, but only casually. Somebody get TalonMan in here. Preferably Seece or Rainbird.

I agree completely with this idea.

@ Darth

This system isn't great, why do you want to keep it the way it is?

I'll be honest- I really don't have any problems with it. It works for me, and the subdivisions in my collection are actually exactly how I would divide them.

I agree. I don't add games anymore for precisely this reason.

agreed. after the redesign of the site the button got hidden and I actually forgot where to find it a few times hahahaha but now I know exactly where it is. But, if you didnt know it was there you would easily miss it. so yes! make it available in the search results! :D

If at first you don't succeed, you fail

Sorry for the double post.

Try deleting games, its way worse

That too. Instead of just a simple delete option on the main list, you have one checkbox next to the word "edit", and you enter and leave the edit screen by checking and unchecking the box, which is completely counterintuitive to the actual use of the checkbox. Why not a button like most pages actually have?

Then you can delete games, and even set up games you want first in your profile page. Nice features, but what's up with the directional arrows? I don't see anything that indicates what they do, so I don't even want to touch them.

The arrows show the different boxarts for different regions and can also show the boxarts for special/collector's/limited edition games. I thought you could use them to show which version of the game you have but they don't save.
