As for 90% games rated by The MetaCritic, probably not. They sure loved their Madden back then...
As for me, it already has.
In fact, the Wii contains my biggest game collection... ever. For me, that means a lot for this little system.

Probably not. Even ignoring the anti-wii sentiments that resonate with the reviewers of this generation, sports games as a whole seem to be reviewed less favourably compared to the last generation. Just as an example, looking at Tiger Woods 10, that was probably the best golf game I've played in my entire life and it wasn't able to cross the 90 barrier.
lol tiger woods 10 doesn't make the list but tiger woods 03 does.
currently playing: Skyward Sword, Mario Sunshine, Xenoblade Chronicles X
I would say that an AAA game should have a certain degree of market appeal as well. Reviewers often look at details that are not very important (like whether or not the game displays in a resolution with 480 pixels or instead on a bigger frame at 1080 pixels), and ignore details that the vast majority of people find important (like whether or not a game is actually fun).
IE. The game could get a 97 average, but if it doesn't even sell 2 million, is it really triple A? How about a game with an 80-85 average that is guaranteed to sell 10 million+?
I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
No. Because most cube games exist on PS2 and XBox (even N64). Most Wii games can't be compared to the HD versions or to any existing game (wii fit, wii sports etc).
Go buy Metroid OTHER M!

Terms such as 'AAA' and 'Best' are completely opinion based and entirely dependent on the views of each individual. And the LAST way someone should compare games is by the reviews it got. That's like comparing movies based on their reviews. I don't know about you, but I'm not going to call a new movie like Avatar an 'AAA' title next to Forrest Gump or Indiana Jones just because a bunch of overpaid movie reviewers give it some huge inflated scores. Likewise, I'm not going to skip a movie because some reviewers downgraded a movies score overall.
That aside, in MY opinion, the Wii is already about equal if not already beyond the GameCube in both quality and quantity of good titles. I mean, a good indicator of how good the Wii is doing is many of the best titles on the GameCube have already re-released on the system. And then you have many of the same amount of great titles on the system. But of course, many people are going to have different views.
I guess not.
And I know many people post in here just to blame the reviewers. Very lame excuse if you ask me.
I think the reviewers are absolutely correct (it's their job...). The Wii has IMO one of the worst libraries of the last decade and while the library of the Gamecube and the Xbox weren't the best either, they were at least appropriate to their place in their respective generation.
Nintendo must hurry if they want to catch up to the amount of quality on the Gamecube, because it looks like 3rd party studios won't contribute to that.

You better watch out with words like these, someone might actually hold you to them.
"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."
"The so-called "hardcore" gamer is a marketing brainwashed, innovation shunting, self-righteous idiot who pays videogame makers far too much money than what is delivered."

That's a good one to use. Schnuffibärchen.
OT: I prefer GCN's line-up of games, not first party, but definitely third party.
Oooh, I got one! Noventalicious.
