Sony can't afford it, period.  Besides, their stock was massively reduced in the Enix buyout (from 20% to 8.5%) and rendered non-voting.

That said, Microsoft won't do it either.  They're divesting themselves of developers, not acquiring them.  And they've already got what they wanted from SE anyway (Final Fantasy).

Its obviously to tease some people but there are some necrobumbs from late 2008 and the comments back then where pretty harsh towards the Ps3 this time most people just try to rub it into the face of the doubters.

Also, the PS3 has yet to see it's biggest release and yet to drop to $199. IMO, it has a shot a doing 1 million again.

A worldwide release of GT5 during the same period FF13 launched with the ps3 at 249$ and good advertisement...yeah it might get to 1million or even surpass that + bundles.

No, and you already knew that, so you are just trying to start shit.

BTW, adjustments are a bitch, remember it was a very close 1 million, any little adjustment will bring it down.

My advice is to enjoy the PS3 sales.
