Forums - Microsoft - Will final fantasy XIII (xbox 360) pull its own bayonetta (ps3)?

Seeing how the xbox 360 version of bayonetta is superior to the playstation 3 version, do you think this will be the same for the playstation 3 version of final fantasy XIII?

I'm curious to know what you think.

Will have to wait and see how the port goes, and if they port the game from the PS3 to 360 or PC to 360. If it's the latter it's possible the game could actually run better on the 360, but I don't think that will be the case. Square has had plenty of time to work on the PS3 version to prevent it from having any frame rate issues, and 360 games tend to run smooth even with minimal development time. My guess is the game will be comparable to DMC4, both versions looked and ran great.

Em no....

Impossible, as the PS3 was the lead platform in mind. Bayonetta is the exact opposite (360=lead), so the PS3 version of FFXIII will be better.

The Ps3 version will most likely have some better movie sequences (Due to them being a larger size on the Blu-Ray), but the gameplay should be about the same in terms of quality, I would think...Square is not a lazy company, that's for sure....

(Ps3 for me)

Just waiting for that PS Vita to come out so I can play some full featured games on the go with that beautiful screen and control scheme...

SE is not lazy? TLR on 360 says hi :P

It's just there's no way the 360 version can be better because development was lead on the PS3. Then it was ported.

No, but not vice versa either.
No gamebreaking changes in the "inferior" version.

Did anyone actually read the OP? He saying will the 360 version of FFXIII be equivalent to the PS3 version of Bayonetta.

The OP is arguing that the 360 version might be worse. You seem to be misunderstanding him.

^Yeah, you're right.

On that, the 360 version is almost the same - confirmed.
