It was gameplay engine engine at least. And where Bungie are concerned all of their cutscenes look the same as gameplay. There is a very good reason for that to. The actually physically have nothing changed. They explain that ALL in the the making of Halo 3 Legendary Edition extras. I'm a proud owner of that. Hehehe. Bungie is the ONLY dev where when I see a cutscene I KNOW it is exactly the game engine. Sometimes they beat what they first show to. I remember the Halo 3 anouncement. It looked nice and all, but the final gameplay destroyed it. So much more onscreen in the final gameplay and some of the later levels had loads more going on than any other game at any one time.
If this is the first we are seeing of Halo Reach, I expect better actual gameplay by release and the best looking 360 game by some way. Because we all know Bungie will have 60 + units onscreen at any one time with better visuals than this. Their track record proves it. Bring it on.
And thanks again Bungie for not bowing to the sad state of every game going for realsitic look. Great to see character in design still.
