Right, because FF13 alone makes a trend. 1-3 on the NES could have been on the Master System, 4-6 on the Neo-Geo, 7-9 on the N64, and 10-12 on either XBox or GC. All of those systems are more powerful than the ones that the games released on.

no but it seems this is the situation why didn 't SE published SO4 on both ps3/360 same time and waited a year exactly to release on ps3 a contract with MS is behind it

Erm Maybe because Sony has a strong brand and awareness?
Final Fantasy Series True Home is the PLAYSTATION.
What i think should of happen is that they should have kept FF13 (TIME EXCLUSIVES FOR PS3) because it would of droven PS3 sales of the ROOF which would increased the demand for FF13 and after a few month then release it for Xbox 360

The Wii took the crown from the PS2, and could easily sell lots of games if 3rd parties actually put quality titles on the Wii. Just looking at the music/rythm genre, pretty much every single game sold better on Wii than PS3.

Can you seriously believe that any "blockbuster" (which also indicates it is mainstream to some extent) wouldn't have the potential to sell better on Wii?

But Norlead, FFXIII is really the only big game the Wii didn't get in Japan, they got DQ aND MH, what other franchise doyou believe they shuld also have?

First off, I'm not saying they should get everything, as obviously not every game will sell the best on Wii, and sometimes games are made for more than the purely financial reasons.

But, you are also leaving out a lot of big games (or just out right really good games) that could (note, not should) have been released on Wii. Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil, Pro Evolution Soccer (late releases killed the Wii version). Not that I'm saying they should have been moved over to Wii, but Resident Evil obviously had good potential to sell on Wii (as proven by 4) to bad Capcom isn't smart enough to make the Title screen work on the Wii.




If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

KH! :) That's basically the only major main series that hasn't been announced yet this gen for consoles...

You have some bad predictions!

Plus they haven't announced a major 360 game in a long time. I'd say Epic Mickey is more telling especially if (when) it sells well. Not to mention making a PSP/360 game would be retarded anyway.

PSP would sell more in Japan, 360 sells crazy third party games, fairness is fairness.

Final Fantasy XIV will on X360 sooner or later，don't forget FF XIII was only on PS3 at the begining.If FF XIII Versus’s producer isn't Tetsuya Nomura，maybe it will on X360 too.
So Square Enix stick with SONY？

But, unfortunatelly at the time, Sony was in no position to do that. They could do it with Final Fantasy XIV (timed exclusive?), Final Fantasy Versus XIII (exclusive) and Final Fantasy XV (i bet Square-Enix is already developing it).

OT: I dont like the fact KH has been brought up. We all know it's WAY off, and the teaser video is likely to be on PSP. And Nomura is gonna be doing it, and Sony have a partnership with Disney.

check the E3 2006 TRAILER it says for play station3 not "only for play station 3"

then the developers where thinking of bringing the series to 360 and since then rumours for a 360 version were floating around until E3 2008

but if you check versus 13 DKS37 trailer it says Only for Play Station 3 WORLDWIDE
