The two best games of this gen, Mario Galaxy and Metal Gear Solid 4, were made in Japan!

Mario, Zelda, Metal Gear, Resident Evil, Metroid, Final Fantasy, Gran Turismo, Tekken. That's basically a list of my favorite game series of all time. All Japanese! Japan is games!

I'd appreciate if you didn't edit MY personal list. You have your opinion and that's fine, even though you're just listing games as you see along to make us think that only you are correct.

You may want to deny it all that you want, but both Western AND japanese developers have been giving us great games this gen. Seriously, I don't know why you people have so much difficulty accepting that, is it some kind of inferiority complex?


I never stated that Japanese devs haven't given good games. I am stating that western devs have brought more AAA titles to the table this gen than Japanese. Actually, they've been owning it. 2010 will be the breakout year for Japan, which is why PS3 sales will spike in Japan. Um......duh?

That's not true at all, and you know it. Whenever you see a boost in Wii hardware, it's usually because of a Nintendo title. And a good one. While Wii Music and Animal Crossing failed to raise Wii sales (two games often viewed as average or mediocre), games like New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Wii Fit, and Mario Kart Wii raised Wii sales tremendously, and those were great games.

I don't even want to get involved in this argument, but Wii sales are not driven by shovelware. It's quite the opposite.

I won't get into the argument either because I know everyone has an their own opinion, but wii fit and wii sports are not what I would call great games. I also realize my tastes are more for games that are in depth with high difficulties and deep gameplay. So you can just ignore that post, it was my own opinion coming out in a less then pleasent manner.

It's kind of strange that you say that, when your posts are focused on the exact opposite thing.
Again, I just gave a personal opinion, you have your own and I respect it, that's why I don't go around and edit your lists.

To some people Western developers have give them the best games, to others it has been the japanese. Not everyone has to think or appreciate the same, as long as they respect other people's opinions and choices.

all westerns no how to make are games that have guns, blow shit up, and are just there to make a quick buck. I tried many of these overhyped shooters and i really dont understand why there appealing beacuse no heart and effort is being put into it. Eastern games have always giving me the best products and that wont ever change

I dont need to, JAPAN has done it all - if this was wrestling JAPAN has won every belt, if its basketball JAPAN is MJ dunken on western developers asses, if its grammy awards JAPAN has just staken all of them. JAPAN is the Godfather of the industry they can do whatever the hell they want too innovative creative or not....now answer my qeustion

little big planet is one of the most creative and innovative games you will ever play >_>...amercan dev. are great and are the creators of some of my favorite games, calling them poor is just pathetic of you, because they have done AMAZING this gen...jap dev are great also, but calling western dev poor just makes you look like a fool
