That's not true at all, and you know it. Whenever you see a boost in Wii hardware, it's usually because of a Nintendo title. And a good one. While Wii Music and Animal Crossing failed to raise Wii sales (two games often viewed as average or mediocre), games like New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Wii Fit, and Mario Kart Wii raised Wii sales tremendously, and those were great games. I don't even want to get involved in this argument, but Wii sales are not driven by shovelware. I won't get into the argument either because I know everyone has an their own opinion, but wii fit and wii sports are not what I would call great games. I also realize my tastes are more for games that are in depth with high difficulties and deep gameplay. So you can just ignore that post, it was my own opinion coming out in a less then pleasent manner.
