I still don't get how Uncharted 2 can be the best game of the year but not the best action/adventure title. Still puzzling.

Not too keen on the catagories they have actually, They need a general sports one and a best underated games catagory really.

Uncharted 2 and Flower winning made it all worthwhile...almost.

Anybody find it weird how Flower won Best Independent Game and Shadow Complex won Best Downloadable game, when they were both nominated for BOTH?

Shadow Complex wasn't nominated for Indie :P

Am I the only one that can't stand the blatant none stop marketing of the VGA's? The show was 45% about unreleased games and only 25% about awarding games for great accomplishments and then 15% about upcoming TV shows and movies and 15% about poor musical acts. What ever happened to the good ol days of letting the marketers do their work during the commercials?

Wii Sports Resort didn't win the best individual sports award. I was not surprised here, because I think UFC was surprisingly awesome, but I actually thought the voters would choose WSR over it.

Other than that I don't think any other Wii game deserved a major award.
Okay maybe they could have at least nominated NSMB Wii for GOTY instead of L4D2.
