This game is going to do well in the Western markets. Action Adventure games always do. This is a major contrast from Japan. Secondly, some Wii games sale a small amount in the beginning but go on to sale well over a million units. Preorders are not the only way to judge a games success.

Also people need to stop calling this a "Final Fantasy" title. The Crystal Chronicles series has never been nor will it be a part of the Final Fantasy series, though it is part of the franchise.

I give up on trying to educate people on this matter. THIS GAME ISN"T A SPINOFF!!!!! A spinoff in essense is a side story of another game. In this case, this is a main title in a different series. For example, Final Fantasy X-2 is a spinoff. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles My Life as a King is a spinoff, this game is a main entry in its own series.

The strange release date makes me wonder what S-E is trying to do.
It is almost as if it is trying to have low sales.

Wow, some people are pretty disillusioned here, 150k WW LTD for a SE game? No more crack for you.

The game is being released at a awkward time - its too close to Christmas and PAST Channukah to give as a gift, and at a financially strained time for anyone to drop extra money on preorders. The 3rd week sales from release (roughly Jan 15th) shall give a better picture, as it will reflect gift card shoppers. People with FFCC on their priority list will likely purchase the game at that time, or when their money recovers from holiday spending.

On the LOW side, this game should sell 500k LTD if the reviews are sour. Knowing the franchise and the userbase, I'd imagine it could hit 1 mil in NA. It will come down to word of mouth feedback, as FF games are all for a specific breed of gamer that are linked together.

There's been about 3 years of anticipation for this game actually. There was almost a firestorm when there were rumors it was cancelled. Your fanboy amp is at 9, could you please lower it to around 4? K, thanks bye.
